Top 100 Wines of 2007 by Wine Spectator!

Wine Spectator is releasing the complete list of the top 100 wines of 2007 this coming Monday, November 19.   And, since the top 10 countdown is happening this week, where Wine Spectator releases one wine a day until the full list is revealed, I do have some of those top 10 wines to share with you!

You may be asking yourself, "What is the criteria to make this top 100 list?".  So, here is how they are selected:

  • Quality
  • Value
  • Availability
  • Wine Spectator's "X-Value", which basically means "Excitement Factor"

The top 100 wines for 2007 average $42 and represent over 13 countries. I can't wait to try some of these amazing wines!

Here is the top wine countdown thus far..
