Best Thanksgiving Corn Recipe
Turkey seems to get all the attention! And that is just not fair when you have a recipe as amazing as the one I am about to share with you. You see, my husband and I have a tradition of going to the Ritz Restaurant in Newport Beach, CA for a Christmas Dinner. Our favorite part of this meal is, no doubt, the Ritz Corn. Make this, and you will probably get many requests from friends and family for the recipe, guaranteed!
So, here is the recipe (I can't believe that I am sharing this with the masses. This is one recipe that should be kept a secret. So, now you know how much your Epicurista really wants you to enjoy food and be proclaimed the best corn chef!)
Ritz Corn....
Ingredients
1 1/2 T. Butter
1 1/2 T. Flour
1/2 t. Salt
1 1/2 c. Whipping Cream
2 T. Sugar
3 c. Frozen Whole Kernel Corn
Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
Start Cooking:
1. Melt butter in saucepan
2. Add flour & Salt, stirring to blend
3. Slowly add whipping cream to the above
4. Add sugar and corn
5. Place in casserole dish and sprinkle with 1/4 c., or more if you like, freshly grated parmesan cheese.
6. Brown under broiler until looks perfect!
Serve warm! Enjoy!
