Mmmm...Best Latte Ever!!!

P1010121-1.JPGI am in a constant quest for the best of the best in regards to anything culinary!  So, let's talk about the best latte around.  Don't let my coffee mug in the picture fool you; this is not a latte from Starbucks, D.D.'s (Dunkin Donuts), Coffee Bean or any other mass market coffee store, but instead it comes straight from Downtown Chicago! Straight from my own Epicurista Kitchen!  Delish!

Here is the daily grind on how this best latte is brewed up!  It all starts with a great espresso machine! So, I researched for days, and I think I finally found the "best of the best" in regards to  espresso machines. I settled on the stainless-steel Breville Cafe Roma, because for its price it has had great customer reviews and it is supposed to make some of the best froth around.  I haven't been disappointed with it one bit.  So, like I said, this amazing latte starts with having a quality espresso maker, and then it comes down to great grind!  I have enjoyed Black Cat Expresso by Intelligentsia, a combination of coffees from Latin and South America.

Now that I have discussed the espresso maker, and a great type of espresso, we need to talk about the extra flair.  And this flair, reflects the great Fall season.  Sounding good already, huh? So my latest and greatest flair for my latte is.....(drumroll please!).....Spiced Pumpkin Butter Spread from Trader Joe's.

It's true.  And, although this sounds like a strange concoction, let me tell you, a spoon full of this delectable treat in your latte, makes the perfect Pumpkin Spiced Latte, and the expresso maker gives just the right amount of epicurilicious froth to make your morning just right!  Enjoy!

Now that you are a big foodie I expect lattes and fresh baked muffins when I visit. And a dinner from your new cookbook! I am looking forward to it.
