Here is the thing, I just love food!!!  MmmmMMMmmm....I love to look at it, love to eat it, love to talk about it, and love to play with it!  Of course, as often is the case with fab gourmet food, it must be accompanied by an excellent wine to be fully enjoyed...so, of course, I love great wine too! 

I can not claim the fact that I have attended some swanky culinary university or that I have been an executive chef at some amazing 5-star, but I can assure you that I am a person who is passionate about life, great service, top rated Chicago restaurants, budget-friendly finds and excellent eats! Not only this, but I have noticed a (bad?  good?) habit that I have that should be beneficial to this blog.  This is my tendency to critique food and service at whatever restaurant I go to.   Frankly, not all food makes the epicurista cut! 

I do believe it is true that it is better to give than to receive.   And, I hope that I will be able to give you a bunch of great culinary finds, some interesting culinary appliances, raving Chicago restaurant reviews and special recipes.

I have lived all over the country, so I am sure we are going to have some exciting adventures together.  Not only this, but I have travelled a BUNCH, so I should be able to take you on a culinary journey to some of the great locations, where I have ventured!
